Brighton & Hove Albion has launched its 125-day countdown to the club’s 125th anniversary, with a packed calendar of events for fans and the city. The celebrations begin tonight as the Brighton Pavilion glows in the club’s famous colours, marking the start of a season-long tribute to the Seagulls’ history and identity.
What’s happening during the 125-day countdown?
The club’s anniversary plans span nine months, blending heritage with modern fan engagement. Highlights include a new permanent gallery at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery opening on 15 August, titled Brighton & Hove Albion: Stand or Fall. The exhibition will immerse visitors in the club’s past, present, and future through artefacts, fan memories, and multimedia displays.
On 19 May 2026, the Amex Stadium will host a stage production in front of the players’ tunnel, featuring guests from the club’s history and the 2026 Players’ Awards. Ticket options will ensure broad accessibility, letting fans celebrate current stars alongside legends.
How will the club celebrate its identity and community?
The 125th anniversary crest-a nod to the 1956–58 design-will adorn heritage items and merchandise, with a commemorative range launching this week. Percival, the independent fashion brand, will release a 1956–58 themed collection in May 2026. A 125th Anniversary Fan Wall will also be installed at the Amex, made up of fan-submitted photos forming a mosaic mural.
The club’s identity celebrations peak on 24 June 2026, the 125th anniversary of its founding in the Seven Stars pub. The city will host special commemorations, including an Albion takeover of key locations.

Families can enjoy a 125th Anniversary Family Festival on the Amex pitch on 6 June 2026, packed with football, music, and entertainment. From 2 April 2026, the club’s documentary Stand or Fall will screen at local venues and cinemas, retracing the club’s journey from near-extinction to Premier League contenders.
